This blog is mostly just a way for me to keep track of the games I've played. My review of them, the way they might have inspired me and just keep a little trace of them somewhere because I am the type to simply forget what I have done in a given year.
They're not meant to be professional or monetized in any way. If you see a game you might like on here, and this little blog gives you the little push needed to give it chance, then I'd be glad. And if you see a negative review of a game you like, know that I'm well known for having very shitty taste in general. I kinda need people to explain things to me sometimes, mostly because I can have a hard time analyzing what I'm consuming. I'm always down to try though ! If you've got an interesting article or video about one of the games here, I'd be happy to take a look at it. (I'd welcome it even, it's always interesting to see how games impact different people).
All that aside, I will spoil games in this blog ! Be warned ! Also, if you like the look of this place please go to Itinerae's blog! I do not know how to code, and I wouldn't have been able to make something this pretty by myself (´;ω;`).

"After moving back to Corland Bay, things have started to become more... unsettling. Your laundry always seems to go missing, creepy footsteps echo down your hallway at night, and to top it all off, your neighbour swears that she saw someone leave your apartment while you weren't home. But hey… at least the pink-haired stranger you met at work is there to keep you safe."
Ugh, I really like that game ! I feel like it is well-written, as in I really like the prose itself. The characters are fun to interact with, and I kind of can't wait to get to know all of them. It does a very good job of making the MC feel lonely though not isolated. I'm doing a blind-as-a-bat run (my favorite kind of run in Yandere games, it's fun to see how much you can push you character before shit hits the fan) and the game's doing a good job at letting me be the dumbest most self destructive lovesick puppy. I mean sure some things are weird and Ren can be off-putting. But who cares ? Love and all that jazz.
The smut is nicely written too ! They were a fun read, though I'm kinda pissed the whole itch.io-mastercard debacle means we'll have to DLC the whole thing. Puritans really have to fuck everything up for the rest of us freaks. Sad. Bad. Hope it comes back to bite them in the ass.

A Faerie's Tale is a light-hearted and playful fantasy story about accepting change and finding a new home.
The story follows Aell, a half-Sylph, who has spent their life in seclusion in the forest of Lyfthelm Mountain. They are forced to relocate to the town of Byrne in the valley after a mudslide destroys their cabin and a family of frogs takes over the fireplace. Having never spoken to humans other than the grandfather that raised them, and having never dealt with human society, they are wildly curious about the new experiences and people they encounter.
But a run-in with the city guards leaves them confined and waiting for a messenger from the Lord in charge of the area, who may be interested in their magic abilities. Aell takes the situation in stride and instead focuses on getting to know their two caretakers, Silas and Glen, as they attempt to teach Aell about the town and about living as a human.
Will Aell escape? Curse the town like a proper vengeful Fae? Bring down a goose apocalypse from the skies? Or will they just fall in love?
This ! Story ! Is ! So ! Cute ! O h my god, I love faes so much !! It's such a cute romance story, especially Glen's. I love Glen. He's such a prick. I really like non-human MC, and I love the way the writers show the difference between a human and Aell. The fact that they fall so easily and they fall so hard, that they want to spirit away their love. It's just instinctual to want something so bad you wish for them to be yours only. Also they're a short terror. What a frightening love to have, and how wonderful the little epilogue about people getting lost in the forest and finding the benevolent fae and their lover.

Hike, climb, and soar through the peaceful mountainside landscapes of Hawk Peak Provincial Park as you make your way to the summit.
A great indie game, A Short Little Hike is both a delight to play and really good at hitting you right in the feels. I loved the whole gameplay of doing little sidequests to get feathers to go higher and higher. It's funny, witty, and yeah at first I was like haha funny what we would do just to get to use our phones, right ? And then our mom calls us because she had a surgery and maybe I breakdown a little. You'll never know. I'm not going to tell you that.
Listen. It is... concerning how I get anytime mothers are so much as mentioned in a video game. It's about the relationship between a mother and a child, the adult protecting you even when you are supposed to be grown, not saying anything of their problems because they know it will only make you anxious. Maybe, you never grow up in the eyes of your parents. Maybe, that means you'll never be able to shoulder their problems as they do yours. What a horrible thing, to be forced to take and never to give. But then, with your phone still in your hand, you fly down and-
It's small. It's so very small that thing of climbing to the summit (others have done it before you, others will do it long after you are gone, you're not the first) it is still so big on an indiviual level. You did it. I'm proud. I love you.
This game always remind me of the podcast The Tower. To ascend in order to find yourself.

Play the role of a young alchemist apprentice who is unwillingly bound to an illegal spirit. Suddenly drawn into a war between humanity and magic, they must join a group of unlikely heroes to escape their own doom, hopefully saving the world along the way.
It's been a while since I finished this game, but I remember distincly that even then it didn't stick to me after finishing it. (The notes I took seem to agree with me there too). There's a little minigame, for the potion part, but by the end I was a little sick of it. There were cute characters, and I liked the worldbuilding of it. Mages being forced to take government job, having their freedom stripped away to temper with the power they may have. The different disciplines, the fear of getting stuck in the middle of nowhere where the people don't like you and you can't ever leave because this is your life now ? Neat concept.
I also have the vivid memory of helping the local herbalist and our friendly spirit revive the forest. It was a really nice scene. I think they announced a second game coming out ? It would be nice to play it.
I did love the little tone indicator ! They're always a big help in games with social mechanics, and they gave you multiple choices for the romance option ! It's nice. Makes your character feel more like yours in a way.

A game about a woman who travels and fixes things for a living. She’s just arrived in this quaint little town and is staying a few days there. While she stays she takes to fixing the stuff of the locals here, and witnesses the people of the town slowly fixing their relationships too.
Great voice acting ! It's a cute puzzle game that scratches that little itch inside my brain that always wanted to take my stuff apart. It was very satisfying to play
Peekaboo !
I remember that part, it was so difficult (╥﹏╥). I'm really too dumb for puzzle games !!
A bit too short for me to truly care about all the characters, but it was very wholesome and I did love the end of the game where she decided to call her parents and finally talk to them. Running doesn’t help, and it’s better to try and mend your relationships even if it's “too late”. You never know is what I mean. Made me a bit emotional with the family stuff, what can I say it is one of my true weaknesses.

Cute little game, not very long. I love a good monster romancer and that is one hell of a monster.
What kind of monster ?
All worms that can take any forms and be anything and love you for being their (unwanted) savior? They eat brains and get the memories of their victims? I need more about their species, Atom is one hell of a mystery. Got the lovely ending of being stuck in space forever with them.
Aren't they just adorable ?

Beacon Pines is a cute and creepy adventure set within a mysterious book. Sneak out late, make new friends, uncover hidden truths, and collect words that will change the course of fate!
The art is so beautiful in this game ! Reminds me of storybook illustrations. Also the cutest character designs ! Loved the gameplay aspect of it, searching around the place and finding new words to change the ending. Jumoing timelines to find the best ending for our little creatures.
I mean look at them !
It kind of makes me want to write a story about a bunch of critters having adventures.
What about the story ?
The story is something… It’s entertaining but oh god is it convoluted at times. A town built on top of a secret passage to the real town that was frozen over, and that somehow affects the aging process of people in said town. Grandma is our mom and the little dog guy is actually the villain but reverse-aged and we aged (reverse-aged) him into a baby so that he wouldn’t be evil anymore?? Also our best friend is like 18 now so there’s that I guess?
All in all a great game that now lives free in the back of my mind with how out there it gets.

Bear and Breakfast is a laid-back management adventure game where you build and run a bed and breakfast...but you’re a bear.
The cutest fucking game ever. Loves the fact that we make bear noise when we talk to humans. It is so cozy, even though we are working for a capitalist “shark”. I am in love with the grumpy bird and the energetic dog. Also bear no bear when he pants and hat.
Bear ?
Am bear ?
I like to make the bedroom for the guests, think about turning a building into a cozy little home for just a couple of days. Too bad I'm really bad at management game and was barely scraping by the whole game. Also I'm a really bad decorator and all guest rooms were the size of a shoebox.( ̄ ̄|| )

Loved the game !! The gameplay was a bit stale after a while and the mystery didn’t quite give me the “Oh yeah I got that” feeling at all but I don’t really think that’s where the game shines. The visuals as well as the characters are what makes you want to continue playing. I love the ambiance, I love seeing the connections that are being created and formed as I get to know them more. Those serving drinks/bartending games are always about community and strangers becoming acquaintance and maybe friends and helping each other through that. Saw people were mad about the romance but it felt right for me. This isn’t a romance game but love can find you along the way. It’s the beginning of it. The confession and nothing more and that’s fine with me.
A little more about the story;
I must say I was mad at first. I don’t like changing characters in game. But it was great there. Loved the whole I was there I was you and they left me to die so why were you worthy of grace and not me ? Hugo was nice but I’m a sucker for Peter. His confession was the cutest one. (In my hearts of hearts when Sandra gets out, they all fall in love back with each other and heal).

Bewitching Sinners is a dark comedy dating sim where your choices will either leave you with your true love or ruin a whole world and potentially killing millions of people within it, no pressure! Explore a fantasy world full of witches, hot priests, and the occasional dance with death.
Loved it !!! Didn’t think I would because I’m not one for comedy but holy shit I loved that one !!!! It might be because despite all the jokes put into it, it let itself be serious and tackled some pretty dark subject matter all the same. Levity is best when contrasted by more bleak moments. Also, all the love interests were so nice and I love the antagonist and urghhhhh it was short but so cool and I think I could just play another one of those games whenever. I did not redo the game three more times though, and I just relied on my saves to do the different love interests. So it didn't feel repetitive doing the quests. I'm kinda bummed the true end robs you of seeing the love end with your romantic partner of choice but it was still pretty good.
Palmier is the kinder version of their other self. At least outwardly, and they have a lot of compassion to give to their friends. I think the games does a good job at making them feel different from the one they are replacing, and at painting their relationship with other characters as theirs and not some kind of fucked replacement for the Original Palmier. They're fun to embody, and stand on their own two feet.

You're a woman working the night shift at the 24/24 Mad Dog Convenience store in the U.S, in the year 2009. You're trying to survive. Pay rent. Stay awake. Pretend your life hasn't stalled.
But one day, a man in a helmet - painfully shy - begins showing up night after night. He never says much. Never takes off his helmet.
You don’t remember everything. But there’s something about the blood you can’t forget.
Beautiful, like I love both of my available LIs so much, (maybe three ? Ex Best Friend is also our Ex ??? I can dream). The two dogs: all bark no bite and quiet but violent. Some dogs they have something broken inside them already ? Perfect, cinema. Also I bet the reason he won’t show his face is because we know him and he did something extremely fucked up. Also Lane knows him. Or at least has seen him around. I saw people speculating that MC used to hook up with both of them or something, or that at least Lane used to come by her place. They seem solid, and they do point out a bunch of stuff I didn't pay attention to... Oh I can't wait for SHIFT 3 !

Binary Star is the country's top Super Hero. His light shines bright against any darkness... but the brighter the light illuminates, the darker the cast shadow becomes.
Discover who Binary Star is behind the mask.
Truly a great yandere game. Loved Ray characterization. There is something so deeply other and inhuman in him, despite the humanity that is there. Loved his obsession and how single-minded he was in his devotion to MC. Would love nothing more than to have more hero/villain fiction with that kind of romance. Kind of reminds me of the Boys in the way Heroes are nothing more than glorified war machines. I fucking love that concept by the way.
About the end !
Also the Ray ending about the both of them being broken? But still trying? Nice, love when the yandere still keeps a little bit of the crazy in their "good" end (not as much as love just plain old toxic relationship btu still, that rules).

Depressed day-in and day-out from a draining corporate job, you become invested in a fantasy webnovel and find a mysterious link to a fan server. Everyone is warm and welcoming, but four members take a special interest in you!
Loved it! Every LI is so beautiful written, and I fell in love with each and everyone of them. So cute, completely adorable. Also it's rather short so you can binge play all the routes without feeling burned out by the end ! Plus ! Plus ! IT'S FREE !! Even more reason to go give it chance. I feel like the writers really captured the vibe of being in a discord server. It can be kind of hard to toe the line between realistic internet typing style and nice easy to read writing, but they did an excellent job of it !

For fifteen centuries, Hush House was a fortress of knowledge. Until the fire. The collection is ruined, and the last Librarian is gone. Only one with your unique talents can rebuild the library, and uncover its mysteries.
Enjoy the sweet peace of organising books and customising your new home, all while unpeeling centuries of history from the occult stones around you. As the newest Librarian, you've chosen solitude... but your influence extends far beyond the walls of Hush House. It's up to you to determine how history is written.
It was a fun game, though a little challenging and repetitive by the end (but that’s mostly because I could not read everything, it is both too small, and too long, and too little, and academic enough for my brain to gloss over-). It is beautiful though, and fun, and very rewarding for my brain every time I get to unlock another room. Fun card game all in all. A bit sandbox-y (?) so not really for me. I could not understand how to get an ending at first. ( • ᴖ • 。)

Date your weapons! Romance swords, daggers, and polearms to level them up in this “shack-and-slash” dungeon crawling adventure.
One of the games that made me realize I actually liked dungeon crawling games so long as there was a story to it. Gods they all are such beautiful LIs. Hate that stupid vampire for not being actually into having a relationship with me- (it is fine, I think it is great story-wise). I knew I liked the laser saber, and I liked the laser saber (cutie patootie), and dagger has my fucking heart. It was a very fun game to play. I didn't play the later love interests so it might be nice to play it again and get that axe and that hammer.

A mystery adventure set at the collapse site of a live survival audition show. Trapped contestants communicate with each other—and the outside world through social media—as they wait for rescue. But as unexpected events unfold, trust begins to crack, and survival becomes far more complicated.
Do-yoon An is so fucking hot, actually, all of them are fucking hot. And interesting. I don't know I got attached to the characters and that has to count for something. They all fucked up a bit. But that's cool. I can fix them.
I mean look at him !
He's hot, isn't he ??
At first I was kinda bummed by the true end and the whole explanation of the murderer's identity because... Well, I love a good mastermind. It's fun to have a mystery big bad do mystery bad things to a group of people. But I still really liked the story overall. The characters are excellent, and the more you learn about them and get close to them, the more you want them to live. It also brings quite the dilemna when you start befriending the murderer.
I wonder if there are stories about this specifically ? I mean, I bet there is, but I wonder if there is a story about a very devoted killer ? Someone that is attached to the protagonist and even knowing that they must suspect them, they still eagerly cling to them. Actually that sounds like something I read before...(Also what a creepy thought to have a monster love you despite your hatred of them, not that this is what really happens in this story).
CGs are beautiful. Loves the fact that by getting their trust you’d find out more about other characters. Also, the social media aspect was pretty cool.
I have a bias against green-haired characters, could never be totally trusting of the short one with the glasses. I know his colors. And they tell me he's a traitor.

Become a cat! In this cozy life sim RPG, you'll lead your colony into the mysterious Wildwood. Hunt prey, harvest herbs, collect magical treasures, & defend your new home from intruders. Build a thriving town to recruit new cats. Get to know the residents, fall in love, & raise a litter of kittens
A very cute and simple game that lets me live out my fantasy of being in a cat warrior book. It's a neat cozy farming game. I don't really have a lot more to say about it.
About the look of the game

I mean it looks really nice ! I really like the cats' sprites. It makes them feel quite different from each other.

Legend says that one day, a traveler will reunite the Peoples of the Tower who are unable to communicate with each other. Observe, listen, and decipher ancient languages in a fascinating universe inspired by the myth of Babel.
A beautiful puzzle game with a really cool mechanic.
I loved the fact that different languages had different grammar and that you had to remember how to translate some words that had no equivalent in one language. A very fun taste of what linguistics is like.
All civilizations had very distinct writing styles, ways of life, and ways of thinking. It was quite fun to see how they all were closer than they thought after helping them communicate. Vey cute, would absolutely recommend.

It's time for a winter getaway~
A peaceful winter retreat becomes an unexpected adventure when a snowstorm leads you to the wrong cabin in the mountains. Your plans for solitude take an interesting turn when you meet the cabin's mysterious resident. As the blizzard intensifies, it keeps you both snowed in.
What secrets lie within these snowy woods? Your choices will determine your fate in this atmospheric visual novel.
The cage is beautiful because it was made for you ??? God this is so well-written, and if day one was strangers meeting each other, day two really hammered the fact that you are something that escaped and that came back to its jailer. I love that concept. You ran away, bunny, but you came back anyway. Got your rotten soul right next to mine.

Daughter Raising Simulator with in-depth management gameplay, backed by an outstanding City Pop soundtrack. Take a young girl under your wing and raise her to adulthood. Set in a future where humanity has fled earth, your choices for your daughter will determine the outcome for humanity.
The worldbuilding was interesting, and I was kind of looking forward to discovering the mystery of who Ciel really was. But the gameplay was difficult to get through. It was boring after a while, and too grindy for my tastes. I could only do one run before deciding to shelve that one.

Coffee Talk is a coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator about listening to fantasy-inspired modern peoples’ problems, and helping them by serving up a warm drink or two.
Adorable art style, (I'm a sucker for anything pixelated), I really liked the way the story was told. I have some problems with other talk simulator where I feel the PC isn’t all that integrated to the story but here Barista is a wonderful character.
A little spoiler
I love the whole time traveler thing to explain how the PC can replay some days and also I love the fact that it’s implied our parent is one of the people we’ve met during this game (It’s probably Neil but then again who knows ?)
I do love the coffee aspect, mostly because I’m a collector gamer and collecting drinks does scratch that itch a little.
I got a thing for the werewolf/vampire pairing. I love immortal (or at least grow very very old) friendships what can I say ?
.jpg)
A series of murders is shocking Hollywood! Use your detective skills: search the crime scene, find clues, solve the mystery. Who is pulling the strings behind these Confidential Killings?
The artstyle is really pretty, and quite unique to the game. It's a quick puzzle game, à la Golden Idol but way simpler. Maybe too simple ? I think the cool thing about mystery games are uncovering said mystery. Making theories, searching around for the true perpetrator, being led itno false paths and realizing mid-way through playing. Confidential Killings is however painfully straightforward with it's mystery. Which makes it a little less interesting to me. Still, It's a fine game to play.

Welcome to Cozy Grove, a game about camping on a haunted, ever-changing island. As a Spirit Scout, you'll wander the island's forest each day, finding new hidden secrets and helping soothe the local ghosts. With a little time and a lot of crafting, you'll bring color and joy back to Cozy Grove!
A cute chill game with beautiful art.
There’s something tragic about the island and its inhabitants. Something dead, something of the past, something that can’t ever be recovered. Not that will stop us from trying to cozy up that small island. Suppose that even in death, you might need a little comforting
Haven’t finished it cause the game demands you go back to it every day like animal crossing. Will probably try to finish it at some point.

A creepy-cozy cooking simulator where you befriend local wildlife and feed them their favorite snacks! With a strange house to search and forest to explore, the witching hour has only begun.
An absolute delight. The visuals are so PS1-PS2 game looking, the story is so cute !! I love found family, and this little game is all about finding your place even in the spookiest of places. Someone said that it filled that little daydream of being a witch in the woods, taking care of little critters, and I agree. I love the all powerful “friend” that has given us the role of being the steward of this home. I like to think they are a fae. Just cause. Anyway, really liked it ! Hope to see more like this.

You're the next generation of heroes—"Oracle," given to your mother and you for your ability to see glimpses into the future.
The only thing that stands in your way of keeping peace in the city is the supervillain "Chronos".
When you aren't protecting the city from Chronos you're just an average everyday civilian working as a project manager with your long-time crush, Nikolaos.
Little do you know that Nikolaos knows your secret, but you don't know his—that he and Chronos are one and the same.
Another great yandere game, I do love a good superhero story and this is a good one. There’s something about manipulative characters, the way he is obsessed and builds his life all around MC’s. I love the betrayal of falling in love with someone, just to realize they lied about who they were to get you. It was really good, liked both the “corruption” ending and the “fixed him” ending. (Always got a soft spot for making someone worse, and while i love the love between the two characters i feel like the fix him ending kinda fixed him too much. I’m way more into the yandere keeping a bit of crazy in them even when they are trying to be better)
A nice cute read! Kudos to the gym/jealousy scene. I always like to have some of that in my stories.

In finding love for the Parasite 5, will Cupid find love herself?
What's love got to do with it? In this divine romantic comedy, play as Lynette Mirror, Cupid Corporation's top bridal advisor and none other than Celestia's Goddess of Love, Cupid! Determined to prove that love is more than bows and arrows, she meets her biggest challenge yet - the infamous Parasite 5.
But in finding love for the Parasite 5, will Cupid find love herself?
LOVED IT !! I knew it was supposed to be more humorous which can be very hit or miss with me but I did like the fun in that one. Also it’s not afraid to go far and be silly and that’s just perfect for me. PLUS !! I liked all the LIs ! That’s so rare. Of course I have faves (Ryuki and Allan) but I still appreciated every route and I wasn’t bored in any of them. They all had something that I could appreciate. I’d really recommend that one ! The mystery isn’t all that wow but it is nice and fun to try and piece together what is happening.
OH and the CGs are so nice too ! I knew it would be a pretty game but goddamn. It was a bit jarring at first, you know very 2010s but I came around to it. I think it was because I was playing a much more tame ? not dull but calmer in it’s UI (?) game before that one.

Lynette is a character that I quite like. She can be naive and oblivious but then again she is the Goddess of Love !! Plus she never let it get her down, she’s after all one of the most powerful entities on Earth and she makes it known. She’s clumsy in love and the fact that she loves love so much makes her flaw so cute. Also she’s real pretty.

A childhood classic right there. Gods, I love that fucking game so much. Such a fun, though completely bonkers, game. The main trio is one of my favorites, especially stupid Byakuya. They have a great dynamic, and the relationship between all characters is quite interesting. I remember being very upset with who died.
It was quite easy to fall in love with those people and care for their story. I loved the minigame + where we got to learn more about them, and collect their precious underwear. (Are you truly friend if you don't gift them your underwear as a sign of friendship ? I don't think so). (They were friends. They were fucking friends. And that makes me die a little each time I think about it).

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut is a groundbreaking role playing game. You’re a detective with a unique skill system at your disposal and a whole city to carve your path across. Interrogate unforgettable characters, crack murders or take bribes. Become a hero or an absolute disaster of a human being.
One of the best games ever made. Disco Elysium has a gripping story, characters that are both complex and loveable, and magnificent prose. The skill system is groundbreaking, and the fact that I play a middle-aged (who am I kidding, I’m like 55) amnesiac alcoholic detective is the best thing that game could have given me.
I would die for Kim, just like he would die for me. And I’m so glad that he finds us funny, because we definitely are (despite what Jean might say).
Played a superstar communist cop (who has no idea what the homo-sexual underground is). Went around helping everyone I could, and didn’t drink because the idea of disappointed Kim paralyzed me.
Used to be a gym teacher and as Kim would say:

Despite the fact that my physical score was like 2 (that’s right I was a Psy/Motor cop, the best kind of cop).
There is something so touching about the story, so raw and powerful. We are a drunk, we are pathetic, we are a shell of something that was great. We’re a man that has been left 6 years ago and yet has not even begun the process of grief. We are oblivion itself, Revachol’s might made manifest. We’re a cop, a detective, and despite not even remembering what money is, we are one of the finest detective there is. I’m pretty sure we have some kind of supernatural ability. Also Kim’s super mega cool. We love Kim. We also love Cuno despite the child being a right bastard at times.
I'm not the happiest person on earth, I'm actually quite sad all things considered. But somehow this particular game makes me feel so hopeful. You can get better even when you are literraly the worst person you could be. There's light. So long as there is another day to live, there's a chance to be something better than you are.
Put aside your own personal brand of crashing and burning, look on at the life of those around you. You all are hairless monkeys wading through a world that makes you and then kills you and only offers you that brief window of time to be. It's scary. So scary in fact that to choose oblivion and not have it sneak upon on you feels cathartic in a way. Like at least you are making choice. Look past that again. You're a person, a singular person that has the luck of finding others just like you and share in the brief bout of consciouness. There's magic to that. There's magic to being, and asking, and finding someone else to be with
My fave skills were probably Esprit de Corps, Inland Empire, Half Light, Shivers and Drama.
Where the hood, where the hood, where the hood at ?

They're obviously not the only ones and I'm sure there are a lot more cool videos by even cooler creators but those two are my personal faves ('''' •᷄ ᴗ •᷅).

Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy where choices matter. Manage a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes and strategize who to send to emergencies around the city, all while balancing office politics, personal relationships, and your own quest to become a hero.
It was a really fun game to play, though I have to say that the story wasn't really groundbreaking. I did love Robert Robertson a lot ! That is such a name too. Why whould you do that to your own child ୧(๑•̀ᗝ•́)૭?? At first I didn't think Visi would be an LI at all, but welp I was proven very, very wrong (T▽T). She was the MAIN love interest.
I'm not really mad about having either Mandy or Visi as a love interests, but it would have been nice to have a clearer "neither" choice. Personally I went with Mandy. I like the classic hero falling in love trope and putting aside their persona so that their partner can get to know the real them they have.
For a choice game, some choices did feel a little...shallow ? Well, not shallow but I think the story was set up made them feel more like flavor choices rather than big impactful gameplay choices. It's a little hard to put into words, but sometimes I felt like the grand lines were already set up for me. It was still fun, as I said previously. The concept and the characters were a treat
Also, the fact that the story isn't perfect means the fandom churned out fanfiction like a factory. I'm always proud of those fearless soldiers for feeding us so well (`-´)>.
Good on them for doing the classic Telltale Games episode release. It's a great way to ensure people talk about your games. I mean I'm a binger for sure, but choices games letting the fandom have a little breather so that we can all theorize together and compare our playthroughs is always a lot of fun.

The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. The battle for Divinity has begun. Choose wisely and trust sparingly; darkness lurks within every heart.
I started playing that game after buying Baldur's Gate 3, mostly because I wanted to try a lot of isometric rpgs like this one. And what a good purchase that was. I had a lot of fun getting to know the setting and the classes. I mean I'm no stranger to tabletop rpg, though I'm mostly familiar with DnD or VtM, so I wasn't totally out of my depth. Though I did fling a lot of healing spell Fane's way ಥ◡ಥ. It was Jaethal all over again.
I really liked the story, and the characters ! Though I was a little sad we couldn't get all of them in a single playthrough. Still, had lots of fun being an escaped prisoner that used her sourcerer powers more than once in public. I mean I tried to be lowkey. I was just shit at it. Also that last fight was tiring. I mean I had to like, finesse it so that I didn't have to do the second part of it. It was a testament to my determination to not load a previous savefile and get better equipment somehow
Here's a page dedicated to my beautiful PC Malle. If I ever do another run then I'll link my other PCs here too. I just...have to get the courage to redo that last boss battle ಥ◡ಥ.

A really cute and fun game !!! The artstyle is so perfect, of my god this game is so pretty. I mean you could simply play it for the CGs alone. But the romance options are also a treat. The Mad King, the "Bad Boy" vampire and the cutest most adorable incubus !! And bobbo. Can't forget bobbo. But yeah ! You should play it. They were talking about maybe making some sort of day 2, have a little more to it and I hope they do it. o(≧∇≦o)

Dorfromantik is a peaceful building strategy and puzzle game where you create a beautiful and ever-growing village landscape by placing tiles. Explore a variety of colorful biomes, discover and unlock new tiles and complete quests to fill your world with life!
Never ending puzzle game where you’ve gotta create the biggest place ever. Art is really cute, nice little music, and nice little boats and trains. What’s not to love? (I’m not big brain enough to actually make a giant place but I try my best).

You are a Grey Warden, one of the last of this legendary order of guardians. With the return of mankind's ancient foe and the kingdom engulfed in civil war, you have been chosen by fate to unite the shattered lands and slay the archdemon once and for all. Explore a stunning world, make complex moral choices, and engage in bone-crushing combat against massive and terrifying creatures.
I mean. It's Dragon Age, you know ? The Game ? The one with the fantasy and the companions and that is recommended to you everytime you ask for a good rpg with nice romance ? Yeah, well lives up to it's name. It is a delight to play. They really do a good job of making your character yours. I really like the ambiance of it, the desperation of war and having no one listening to your pleas. The power game being more important than the lives lost. An enemy that is somehow a little right, a mentor that was not all good, your life for the better good of the rest of the world. Dragon Age : Origins is really great at setting up it's world and their faction. The gameplay is old, and some part of it can be...tiring to get through.(I hate you Fade section of Dragon Age, with a fiery passion you hear ???). Still, the story more than makes up for it. They did a good job at making my choice feel like they have big bad ramification over the world. A good job at making our ragtag team feel like maybe, they would be able to save Ferelden from the Blight.
Seriously ! I loved getting all those people in my camp. Morrigan and Alistair as starters are so fun. The banter, the hatred ! Leliana my sweetheart and Zevran my other sweetheart ! Not to mention Shale, Wynne... My dog ! I have a dog and their the cutest little canine ever.
No but seriously ! Alistair is too sweet. My man is sooo awkward and eager and the fact that the whole camp just wants to tease him when he get swith the Warden. Leliana.... Oh my sweet Leliana that tells me that she likes my hair before telling me she very much enjoy the company of women. I will twirl my hair and look coy just for her o(≧∇≦o). Zevran has one of my favorite trope : which is I'm all about sex but now that I have feelings for you We can't have sex because now I need to assess if it's serious or not . I mean don't you want to kiss him now ? Don't you want to take his pretty little face in your hands and tell him that everything will be alright ? I was mad I couldn't get Morrigan to like me as a woman, but that's okay I made her a goody two shoe PC that followed her through everything. EVERYTHING. They have a beautiful child together, and he's not letting Morrigan slip through his fingers because she feels it's better like that. He'll try to make her believe in a beautiful future for the both of them.
Here ! To learn a little more about my dragon age PC ! She's a delight. You should meet her ૮꒰ ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́꒱ა

You are Hawke, a refugee seeking to escape the darkspawn-plagued land of Ferelden and become Champion of Kirkwall. Rise to power and fight epic battles while making decisions that determine the course of civilizations.
Okay, so maybe controversial opinion... Best Dragon Age. OKAY LISTEN. This games has my favorite story of all the games. Everything is so bleak, and unlike DA:O, that made me feel like a hero fighting against the world and winning, DA2 made me feel powerless even though I did everything I could. I love it for that. For making a hero you know is going to fail, they are setting you up to fail, but you try so hard and you see the light so many times just for everything to go to shit.
I like being someone that is battling against a giant wave that just won't stop. I love hawke losing everything and have a little bit of hope just to lose everything even harder later. What good is there in the world when you see the tensions rise and you take all the steps to have them deescalate, but nothing matters. Your set on the course and you fucking know it. The world is so broken, what else could have happened ? It feels like fate, it kind of is.
I played a diplomatic mage hawke. A little more joking with those she liked and felt close to. I romanced Fenris but a part of me knows that she always had a little something for Varric that neither of them really acknowledged. (BIOWARE I WANT TO ROMANCE THE DWARF, YOU COWARD).Do you feel the added layer of angst I put on my story with that headcannon ? You must know.
The romance was a little less, I mean I like that they could have a rival romance, but I can tell that there was a little less in between scene between the major romance plot points. I still liked all the companions ! I could talk about them for days ! Between Fenris, hurt and hurting, that hates the mages that enslaved him and find himself falling in love with a mage that whishes for them to be free of torment. How do you live with that ? When a part of your partner reminds you of your oppressor. Meryll and that quest for knowledge, turning to blood magic to advance but for what price ? Plus, she's a cutie patootie. ISABELA. Oh you little thief, she stole something else during that game. ((˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵) my panties). But yeah, her banter with the rest of the crew was such a treat. Anders... man I didn't even want him but the things he does when he has crush on Hawke, the notes of bitterness when he comments on your chosen romance. I love him as a rabid dog hovering over Hawke shoulder. Also the demon haunting him thinks our relationship is bad idea, so what will it be in the end ? Your love or your conviction ? Fuck, his conviction was so good and I understand him so bad. Other than violence, would anything have worked or would it have been nothing more than a band-aid on an open wound ? Soaked in blood and barely sticking to the skin ?
AND THE NON ROMANCEABLES. VARRIC I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE YOU MY HUSBAND FUCK YOU BIOWARE. Heh Aveline didn't do much for me but that little kiss when she thanks you ? The did you ever think about it ? CHEATING ? A LITTLE BIT ??? Well, now I'm sat. I've got thoughts about Carver. None of them good, all of them freaky. I'll spare you the details. But know that they are there.

When the sky opens up and rains down chaos, the world needs heroes. Become the savior of Thedas in Dragon Age: Inquisition – Game of the Year Edition. You are the Inquisitor, tasked with saving the world from itself. But the road ahead is paved with difficult decisions. Thedas is a land of strife. Factions constantly war with each other even as a larger demonic invasion has begun. And you? You and your band of champions are the only ones who can hold it together. It’s your job to lead them...or fall.
I did like that game, though I have to say that I agree a lot with the rest of the critics it got. It does feel like the Church is suddenly the good guys and our background affects very little of the story. I played an elven inquisitor (I have a plan. And that is to make every savior of Thedas a mage and an elf. Just to piss of the Andraste Church. I haven't liked them since DA:O and the whole Templar Debacle.) Anyway, I remember being with Solas in the Mythal temple and having explained things that I should have known as a Dalish elf. There were some options, but it felt like the game assumed I didn't know anything. It's small, but I think it illustrates the underlying problem of DAI quite well. It offers the choice of background, and it does change some stuff in the world, but it feels like it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of the game because there's a right path to take and it's making me take it. It works for Hawke because Hawke are their own person. The Inquisitor is mine to make and I feel restricted in what I can do.
But there's so much good too ! The companions are so well-developed, I love the relationship mechanic in this one. Not only do you have a lot of scenes to help you flesh out the characters, but you have so many questions to ask them and I don't know I love the banter on the missions (I did have to install mods so I could hear more of them). It does a great job out of illustrating their relations to one another (I mean the magic trio is a riot to have around. It's like being in Mean Girls except I'm pretty sure they could kill each other with ease if ever needed). They do a really good at making you care for the team, of seeing them as people and want to get to know them. I always gush about the companions in all those games but I'd say Dragon Age Inquisition really does it's best to make them feel like people outside of the Inquisitor.
Cullen's romance is insanely sweet, a fun thing to do as a mage when you know how he was with a female mage back in DA:O and makes for a good conclusion for a man that really went through it during most of Dragon Age. Plus, a wedding AND a dog. Man that's so cute. ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა Dorian's snarky, lovely, a man that left his home and family because he knew he could never be himself there. Finding love in exile, in place where they hate you, and from that love finding the strength to go back home and make it a better place too. CASSANDRA !!৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻) My beautiful baby girl. UGH. She's such a hopeless romantic beneath all that tightass posturing. She wants a fairytale romance, to be wooed, and you bet your ass I did do just that. She'll get the wedding, the poems and the roses !!! The Iron Bull was a neat surprise. You don't see a lot of BDSM romance in games, or not as sweet and mature as the one depicted here. It was a nice surprise ! And that scene... hehehehe( ≖‿ ≖ ). Sera's fun loving and fun to love. Seen some people being mean to her online, and they can all suck it. They just jealous they can't get a girlfriend to cook cookies and have rooftop talks with. That loves you without a care in the world. "You're a good man.""Am I ?" Ooooooh. "I need you to end this because I can't" OOOOOOOH. YEAH THAT'S RIGHT BABY FALL IN LOVE AND MAKE IT HURT. BLACKWALL THE MAN YOU ARE. ₍₍⚞(˶ˆᗜˆ˵)⚟⁾⁾ Josephine is my sweet baby and I'll duel anyone that comes between us. NO LORDS SHALL STAND BEFORE US !!!
And Eggman. (ง ͠ಥ_ಥ)ง I'll fucking get you. I will fucking get you. Why is that wet bald man like that. Mr Clean looking bitch, you should be honored I decided to fall in love with you
Anyway ! Here ! For my Dragon Age PCs, go on to meet them ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧.
