Arshem's Route

Obsessed love interests are one of my greatest pleasure, and Arshem sure was a pleasure. I mean there is something about someone being unable to let go of the one they love, still wanting them to the point of transformign themselves into something they aren't.

Also, I thought this route would be full of the sweet angst of Arshem being hanged up on other Palmier and our protagonist being some twisted replacement for them... But it was a really sweet story about love and finding yourself with the support of your partner. I love the very real like yeah I made myself for you but I’ve begun to love you more as you let me become myself. Gut punch for his family though, now that he is gone, but I love the whole that he wanted to work in something stereotypical of faes and that he is able to do so now without feeling like he's playing into his "role".
