What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she's the last one in her family left alive.
This is a very sad game. A very sad game about death and a curse. I’m partial to the fact that the curse is manifested, that it is because they thought that they were cursed that everything happened. A lot of the death could have been preventable. A lot of those deaths were more due to negligence than anything else. Also Edie’s whole demeanor, never letting go of the deaths of those before her (keeping the bedrooms as they were, painting the dead before their death, having such a focus on the cemetery) is so creepy and unnerving? The whole game has both this sad and creepy feel to it. You can feel the dead still haunting those walls in the memories of the living.
It’s interesting the way death was seen as curse in this family and still Edith writes about it with such candor and optimism to her child. Yes they all died, yes their might be a mystery at play here, but their ends aren’t yours. You can be a new beginning.
The death that hit the hardest were the baby, the younger twin, and the hermit. There’s just… something so impactful about their deaths.

When you left the capital to escape the clutches of the sun god's council, you hoped that you could put your past behind you and start anew. Unfortunately for you, pasts always have a way of catching up to people; and yours just happened to come in the package of a bleeding man at your doorway.
Short and absolutely devastating. How self-sacrifice comes in between love. How it is hard to let go of those you are in love with when you know that to love you is to doom them to death. Also the whole Hero dies in order to protect the Legend ? That’s great. Wish we could have seen the whole going to save our third idiot that decided to kill themselves instead of letting us help. And I wish we could have had more as to why MC decided to leave in the first place. I think they are doing a prequel game to this one ? Or remaking it ? I can't wait to see more of those three

When Stars Collide is a science-fantasy adventure romance story.
In the game, the player joins the crew of The Ophelia, a deep space exploration vessel as they uncover a trove of technology from a nearly forgotten species. Unaware that, among the items they unearth is an inhabited stasis pod, the crew recovers the found items but inadvertently awakens the occupant of the pod in the process.
Upon awakening, Wil Nymera, a young interstellar wanderer, discovers they've been asleep for nearly 500 years. With nowhere else to go, Wil temporarily joins the crew after revealing they are Veleian, an ancient species known for their telepathy, advanced technology, and tendency to either guide younger races toward betterment - or else obliterate them.
As Wil attempts to settle in and restart their life after a 500 year nap they did not intend to take, the crew of *The Ophelia* find themselves caught in a struggle between ancient powers and newer factions eager to get their hands on Veleia's tech and a centuries old secret buried in the depths of Wil's mind.
Really good sci-fi setting with some nice love interests. I’m going to be honest and say I’m probably only going to do Kav as I love his route and don’t care as much for others. I really like the concept of old race that is now a myth is discovered again by space treasure hunters !! I think it’s really cool even more so because our MC really doesn’t like their heritage. Can’t wait to meet the mysterious brother !!

Live the day-to-day of a magic school student! Whimel Academy is a cozy magic school simulation game. Manage your time and balance between studying magic, part-time jobs, and befriending (or romance) classmates in this wholesome and enchanting world!
I’m going to be honest and say didn’t like it. It’s a raising sim so it has to do it’s best to not become repetitive, and it doesn’t do that well. At some point just clicking mindlessly and seeing only a little postcard as an animation is… boring. The romance is nice ! But there’s not a lot to it, it doesn’t really grow and you just take that little heart at the end of your years there and boom love. There’s no CGs at the end, which I’m going to be honest is the whole reason why I play those games. And you don’t get an ending scene but more like an ending letter ? Heh, I done did one run, it will have to be enough.

Whisper of the House is a cozy game about organizing and decorating. You'll take on various tasks from the townspeople—helping them move, organize, and clean their spaces. In the process, your gentle touch might make a difference in their lives, and perhaps uncover some hidden stories...
Really fun game with some horror/fantastical elements. Cute pixel art and short sweet story. Aliens, and stuff. I liked it.

Winter Burrow is a cozy woodland survival game about a mouse returning home to restore their childhood burrow. Explore, gather resources, craft, knit warm sweaters, bake pies and meet the locals.
Short and cute game about being a mouse left alone after the death of your parents and finding community in a harsh land. I like how most stories about surviving in the cold show that warmth is found in the company of others. I really like the art style and it wasn’t too punishing on the survival part so it was quite fun for me.
