The best kind of game. Beautiful, fun to play, with a good story. The pacing, the writing, the music. I love it, I love the idea of Cryptids Hunter settling on a lake, and slowly dying out. Theme songs for each character are such a cute little touch. The mystery was quite interesting, and the mechanics were quite fun. And the soundtrack... Simply divine.
I am in love with Penelope. And Flora is such an intriguing character. I really hope we get like a sequel or another game in the same universe.
Sidenote: I am in fact quite partial to the love triangle (not really??) of the game. Might be because of the gossiper in me.
Tavern Talk
A cozy visual novel about running a tavern in a D&D-inspired fantasy! Gather rumors, serve magical drinks, and meet adventurers on a life-changing quest.
Such a beautiful story, one about facing fears, the past, and more importantly loss. To love is to lose and love is always worth the loss. There’s something so touching about seeing those characters come to care and open up and more importantly bond with each other.
You have to be more honest with your friends, and you have to help all of them, and sometimes you fight and hurt each other but that’s okay. You forgive each other.
I was in love with that story and in love with the regulars I got to know. A beautiful game.

This game is so funny, and so absurd. I like the dialogue, which is by the way so unexpectedly sexual for some reason? Anyway, absolute banger of a game. Got a little DHMIS by the end of it, made me a little scared (which I loved).

That’s my old man yaoi. That’s my original gay couple. That’s my Sherlock and my Watson and they are so sweet and Sherlock so very endearing and scared of losing the love of his life. Just absolutely adorable and touching. The phrase at the picnic, saying I have something important to tell you and all of this for the finale : “I have always been in love with you, John. That’s all that there is to it.”
The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood
A game about a young witch making a pact with an entity far outside our bonds of reality in exchange for revenge against the Witch (Matron of the Coven) that put her in exile. The pact let her make use of her power, let her tarot-read (write) the future of those that accept to get a reading.
In the ending I got the witch has to give up her immortality and has to live amongst humans. She accepts her fate in the end, though she resent the entity that took away her immortality (and that is now enjoying a life with the witches they so love).
Beautiful game, with pixel art style to die for and characters that are easy to care for.

Love the coven idea, would love to create a magical coven in a story someday. Very interesting idea, Witches that ascend to the stars (loved the fact that they were all woman may they be trans or non-binary). Not all of them are humans! And they look a lot like what they do, their outfits are a direct representation of what they do. Covens are separated in different categories, which makes a lot of sense since the witches with similar magic would probably help each other. Magic is way more versatile and niche too! Garden witch (versatile) vs Pepper witch (super specialized). Also being immortal and petty and not knowing if you’ll ever be truly friends with the people that once were part of your life.

Need a game with a PC that ends up in love with the supernatural entity they make a pact with. Loved this entity because they were vulnerable in their need for the witch. When you are a banned entity that thrives on being with others, being banned and barred from existing can be a lot. I love the part where the both of them said they loved each other at this very moment even if they’d hate each other later. (Also they are so inhuman it’s so cool).
A tarot-writer? Absolutely beautiful idea. To not read but write the Cosmic Wheel? I am choking that is such a good trope.
The idea of Warrior Witches is not explored enough in media.
Also Cannibalism? So girl-coded I love it.
The Tarot Creating Part!!! I love this idea of combining arcanas and having them resonate together to create different meanings! Game wise this was so fun and so cute, even if I’m not patient enough to customize those cards, and I love the little description each one would come with.

So cute and romantic !! I loved the fact that in one of the route we accept our duty and decide to remain as “secret” lovers. Like yea for marriages of conveniences. The prince x servant is always one of my fave tropes so I knew I was going to like it.
The Roottrees are Dead
A genealogical mystery straight out of 1998. Scour the early Internet for clues, uncover hidden connections, and piece together the family tree behind the secretive Roottree Corporation.
Loved this game. This is the kind of puzzle I like (even if I’m not too good at it). It was a very down to earth mystery (I don’t know how to say it but most mystery games can be a bit over the top (even if I love those kind of games) but here it seemed very probable and grounded in reality). Loved the mechanics. I love a good queer people being the secret of a family that wants to be seen as perfect. The sequel of the game in the game was pretty good too.
The Séance of Blake Manor
The Séance of Blake Manor is a supernatural detective mystery, set in 1897 Ireland, where you investigate the disappearance of Evelyn Deane in a remote hotel full of secrets and other-worldly occurrences.
Great mystery game !! I do love a good supernatural mystery !! And it made me learn more about irish mythology which is always a plus for me. Loved our detective, there’s something about a man that doesn’t believe in ghosts being just thrown into the deep end of the occult. Also loved the whole snooping mechanic. I did get by with minimal help so I believe this one is dumbass friendly
The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle
You had once stayed up past your bedtimes, huddled under covers, living the RPGs on SNES whose stories have stuck with you till today? Same for us! So much so that we’ve created an old-school Wuxia game with comparable features: strategic character leveling, turn-based combats, and most importantly, a vast array of characters and a gripping, heartfelt story.
This game was really nice. I love wuxia games and not only is that game a wuxia game but also I can play as a F!MC which is a little bonus (though it didn’t seem to really matter in the end).
I’ve done the Prince of Ge, Wulu Palace route and I really liked the storyline. There’s something about enemies from birth allying themselves due to an unlikely friendship. I also loved the sense of betrayal to those that had been there for you since the beginning when you choose to go with the Prince. Also ten out of ten epilogue. Oooh they aren’t close in the eyes of the public but actually they have a very close relationship behind closed doors.
It would make for a good romance…

Chose to be righteous, cause you know I def prefer to be nice in video games. But also because of the angst of being good and still betraying your friends like that.
Might not replay it, but it was def an interesting play. The graphics were cute but the gameplay got a little boring at the end.

When your ship and fellow crew members are destroyed during a routine mission by space debris, you are rescued by the one laborer-class android who happened to be nearby... Now the two of you must spend an entire three-month journey alone with each other aboard the small, maintenance ship that is taking you back to civilization.
Along the way, there is little on board to keep you occupied... save the android. He calls himself Silas. As the situation forces you to get to know one another, you quickly figure out that while he may not have emotions the way WE understand them, he IS a construct designed to learn, adapt, and serve...
This is android romance done right. Oh the beauty of the synthetic feeling the human. If programmed and not able to feel then why go against their own programming to make sure they are keeping the promise they made to their beloved. The slow realization that they are flawed. That they are not simply an AI but a feeling being. UGH I LOVE ANDROID ROMANCE. I LOVE LEARNING TO FEEL AND BE LOVED AND SEEING YOURSELF AS MORE THAN A SIMPLE TOOL.
Writing funny and witty and so romantic. Just perfect!!!

Through chance encounters with people from your past, present, and a potential future interest, you explore the most pressing story you've ever told: your own.
Spooky, short and sweet, also has reference to the king in yellow which is always a treat. I love a good eldritch horror romance. The writing was good, the insanity beautifully written, I would have love for a longer game but for a jam made game? Absolutely impressive.
Theo was sweet, quite short, and more importantly very interesting for letting us know that the cat was not real. It feels like Theo knew somehow that MC was going crazy, I’m thinking they knew MC was there for weeks and not days.
Oscar was my fave. I love a good assholes to lovers. A beautiful show of force, and cunning, truly felt like he was the one with the most chance of making out alive. But he saw the cat and saw our sister’s note to not trust us. Because of that I think Oscar was a bust.
The King in Yellow. The one to make us mad. To push us to kill our family. Little scorpion? The men you want could never give you what I can? You craved me and so I crave you? This is a certified horror romance banger.
Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love Plus
Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side is a female-oriented dating sim and an enhanced version of the 2002 PlayStation 2 game. Although the Tokimeki Memorial series was originally male-oriented, this game is directed toward the female market and involves a female protagonist looking for love amongst a cast of male characters. Some modifications in game-play were also made to make the game more appealing to female gamers. The player is able to go shopping on her free days to buy clothes and is able to change her daily attire as well as dressing-up for a date. In addition to the male love-interest characters, there are also female characters who can become the player’s friends, study together, go out for coffee, etc. These characters can also become love rivals. The parameters which are built up through different activities include academic ability, art, popularity, sport, attentiveness and beauty.
